Buttermilk Protein Waffles

These are a nice soft buttermilk waffle. As with any recipe I list the protein powder does not have to be added, it makes no difference to the recipe really.

Buttermilk Protein Waffles

Yield: 16

Ingredients:

2 tbsp chia seeds
2 scoops vanilla protein powder
2 cups flour
2 tbsp coconut sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups light buttermilk
1/3 cup melted butter
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 tsp pure vanilla extract

Preparation:

Preheat waffle iron.

Combine dry ingredients in a bowl, mix. Add wet ingredients, mix well, but don’t over mix.

Cook waffles according to your waffle irons instructions.
